Building the Ethanol Business in Omaha!
As a city that thrives off of its ecological roots, Omaha is farm to table freshness mixed with agenuine respect for the land and how development impacts it.
The Omaha riverfront and downtown area have experienced tremendous growth over the last decade, and its growth is based on a vision of playing off the city’s natural environmental strengths. A great example is the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge which is within walking distance of the city’s convention center. This stunning 3,000-foot long suspension bridge stretches across the Missouri River, giving visitors an almost airborne experience and a spectacular view of Omaha’s skyline. “Bob” is the longest pedestrian bridge to connect two states; in fact the state line actually cuts through the middle of the bridge, so visitors can stand in two states at once – one foot in Nebraska and the other in Iowa. The project not only preserved and improved wildlife habitat but also provided economic development opportunities in a balanced, sustainable manner along the Missouri River.
We look forward to seeing you in Omaha in June 2018!
